S.R. (Shannon) Chamberlain is the author of A Murder Most Un-Canadian, forthcoming in early 2027 from Severn River Publishing and the first book in a planned six-part series. Her fiction has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Emerging Dagger Prize and Killer Nashville’s Claymore Prize. Her essays and criticism have appeared in The Atlantic, Vox, and the Santa Fe Reporter. She holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband, daughter, and an array of cats who have so far failed to solve a single mystery, contrary to everything that she has been told by novels.
